Preschool Discovery Days

The Preschool Discovery Days initiative at Kennedy International School offers families the opportunity to experience an authentic morning in one of our preschool classrooms. Children are welcomed into the class to take part in regular routines such as learning centers, circle time, and, when possible, recess alongside current students.

Parents may remain in the classroom to observe or leave their child with the class while joining a guided school tour. The morning concludes with time to connect with members of the leadership team, ask questions, and learn more about our school community.

Morning Schedule

8:00AM–8:30AM | Arrival & Welcome
Sign-in, brief introductions, and time for children to settle into the classroom.

8:30AM–9:45AM | Classroom Experience
Children take part in a typical preschool morning alongside current students, including learning centers, circle time, and guided activities. Teachers model daily routines and classroom practices. If a regular recess period occurs during this time, visiting children may join their peers.

Parents may remain in the classroom or participate in a school tour and question-and-answer session while their child continues the classroom experience.

9:45AM–10:15AM | School Tour
A guided tour will be led by Mr. Megal, Admissions Manager or by Ms. Otsu, Japanese Program Manager, for Japanese-speaking families.

10:15AM–11:15AM | Coffee & Conversation
An informal conversation with the leadership team, with time for questions and additional information about the preschool program and the wider school community.

Note: Snacks will be provided. Parents are welcome to bring a water bottle for their child.
